What We Are Looking For
* A qualified Family Lawyer (Solicitor or CILEX) OR highly experienced in family law with an interest in qualification support.
* A proactive and hands-on approach to managing cases independently.
* The ability to develop and grow the family law practice.
* Strong advocacy skills and willingness to attend court and client meetings.
* Excellent research, drafting, and negotiation skills.
* A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
* Preferably based within commuting distance of the SK area or within an easy commute of around 50 miles from Manchester.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing and developing the family law caseload.
* Handling a variety of family law matters, including divorce, child arrangements, financial settlements, and domestic abuse cases.
* Attending court hearings, client meetings, and mediation sessions.
* Drafting legal documents and correspondence.
* Conducting legal research and providing expert advice to clients.
* Recording billable time and ensuring accurate case management.
