Our Client, a reputable information services business are recruiting a brand new role within their service department after significant growth across the last two years. They are looking for a legally qualified Employment Law Solicitor to join their Advisory team, providing HR and Employment Law advice to a wide variety of clients.\n\nWe are looking for a bright, confident, legally qualified individual, with employment law experience, to work in a dynamic team, providing Employment Law advice, to support individual needs of clients. Advice is predominantly provided over the phone, however the new introduction of their email service means the solicitor will have the added responsibility of creating legal compliant literature.
\n\nThis role provides great growth opportunity, with it being the first of its kind within the organisation. This person can be instrumental whilst the service continues to evolve, and is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career with a business that is always looking to grow and advance their services. The role will be based full time in their recently refurbished offices in Blackfriars.
\n\nDay to Day Responsibilities\n\nTo provide clients with legally compliant and commercial advice to clients predominantly on Settlement Agreements, Commercial Queries, Data Protection, as well as employment law querying including gross misconduct, SOSR, TUPE, grievances alleging discrimination, multiple redundancies and absence management.\nTo work in line with the departmental KPI's, ensuring support is provided to clients in a productive manner with quality sound advice and within set SLA's.\nTo ensure that personal knowledge of employment law and HR best practice is continually updated.\nTo advise, assist and guide clients with all employment law enquiries received.\nTo provide/guide clients with/to supporting information/documentation to assist them in the advice provided\nAttend legal briefings and internal company training to ensure that advice provided is compliant with services.\nAssist the Head of Service with complaints and service issues.\nAttend departmental or office team meetings.\nWork as part of a busy team and carry out any other tasks deemed necessary by the Management Team.\nTo ensure you are fully updated on products and additional services to drive referrals and engagement with other services which aids retention. \n\nWhat we are looking for:\n\nA "can-do" attitude, a thirst for knowledge and the ability to communicate effectively within the team.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.\nA dynamic and flexible approach, as well as the ability to work under pressure.\nStrong time management skills.\nPractical experience and a broad knowledge of employment law.\nAbility to learn, research and interpret law quickly and effectively.\nAbility to prioritise and work unsupervised as required.\nAbility to work to deadlines.\nExcellent communication and written skills.\nMS Office knowledge and experience. \n\n49442BG\n\nINDLON
