Evertz is a world leading company in the design of innovative and pioneering broadcast audio equipment, and we currently have a vacancy for a technical support and commissioning engineer to be based at our UK facility, in Winnersh Triangle, Wokingham, RG41 5TP.
This is a customer focused role providing a wide range of technical support for broadcast and professional audio clients based in the UK, Europe, Middel East and Asia. We are looking for a keen and enthusiastic engineer/technician with a personal passion for audio and audio production at a technical level.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Provide first class technical onsite support and service to customers, accepting responsibility for resolving all issues in timely and a professional manner.
Basic Qualifications:
2. An education in Electronics or Electronic Engineering would be an advantage.
3. Qualified through industrial or professional experience, and with broad digital audio experience in broadcast or a related professional audio field would be an advantage.
4. Previous experience testing, servicing and/or commissioning digital consoles in the audio industry would be an advantage.
5. Eagerness to learn technical aspects of legacy and current product and be able to self-educate to competency level given access to appropriate resources.

Skills and Knowledge
12. Good working knowledge & understanding of modern digital consoles and studio infrastructure from a technical perspective.
13. Previous operator experience is an advantage but not essential
14. Good computer and networking knowledge, will be able to set up and troubleshoot PC and Linux based systems, network infrastructure and Video/Audio over IP technologies.
Communication
15. Must have good interpersonal & communication skills.
