We are looking for a dedicated Nursery Specialist to work in a nursery setting in Horsham, supporting children with SEN as well as the whole class. The role also includes caring for babies, therefore experience is essential. Your Responsibilities Implement and uphold the nursery’s behaviour management policies, ensuring a fair and supportive approach. Work closely with young children with SEN, using early intervention strategies to support their development. Provide one-to-one and small group interventions to encourage positive behaviours and social skills. Collaborate with nursery staff, SENCOs, and parents to create individualised behaviour support plans. Help develop strategies that enhance the overall nursery environment and promote inclusion. What We’re Looking For Experience working with young children with SEN in an early years setting. A strong understanding of behaviour management techniques for nursery-aged children. Level 3 qualification in Childcare Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with children and staff.
