Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance and Reliability Engineer to join our Service Centre in Spennymoor, UK.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional to work as part of a multi-skilled team, driving efficiency, quality, and reliability improvements across all manufacturing assets.
Key Responsibilities
* To proactively complete root cause analysis, ensuring equipment is returned to a safe and timely manner.
* Complete maintenance using a multi-skilled approach, performing proactive and reactive tasks while adhering to health and safety procedures.
* Support site Reliability initiatives by identifying failure modes and trends, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing agreed actions.
* Ensure all tasks are risk assessed through site-specific or dynamic risk assessments, reporting on the CMMS system as required.
Requirements
Essential qualifications include NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a Mech/Electrical/Multi-Skilled Engineering Qualification. Evidence of cross-skilling is required if your qualification is of a mechanical specialism.
Desirable qualifications include 18th Edition wiring regulations, PAT Testing, PLC qualifications, Abrasive Wheels, Welding, IOSH, and Machine Safety (PILZ).
