Interim HR Manager - Immediate start
Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire/Hybrid
Salary: £50-55,000 per annum
About the Role:
Reed HR is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Manager to join our client's team in Abingdon. This is a standalone position, offering a unique opportunity to shape and lead the HR function within the organisation. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and strategic thinker, capable of managing all aspects of HR operations independently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
2. Manage the recruitment and selection process.
3. Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement and motivation.
4. Manage and resolve employee relations matters.
5. Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
6. Maintain pay plan and benefits programmes.
7. Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
8. Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Requirements:
1. Demonstrable experience as a HR Manager within a SME environment, working autonomously managing all HR matters independently.
2. Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
3. Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
4. Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
5. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
6. In-depth knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practices.
7. CIPD Level 5 and above would be desirable.
