Job Opportunity: Semi Skilled Coach Builders
We are seeking motivated Auto Electricians to join our client's growing team. You will play a crucial role in producing high-quality trailers and vehicle bodies, either on the production line or within a specialised area. You will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of 12V & 24V electrical systems on trailers and vehicle bodies. Candidates must have experience with lighting, battery, motor, and PLC circuits and have previous experience with fault finding and diagnostics. Good manual skills and experience with crimping and soldering tools are key, with the ability to read from circuit drawings.
Responsibilities Include:
* Following technical drawings and specification sheets
* Installing and commissioning of electrical systems
* Working individually and within a team to meet production targets
* Following clear instructions from team members and senior colleagues
* Adhering to health and safety rules and regulations
* Maintaining production area housekeeping
* Minimising waste by using/disposing of raw materials and consumable items efficiently
* Maintaining a safe working environment at all times
Key Skills and Experience:
* Hands-on manufacturing experience ideally in commercial vehicle bodywork or trailer manufacturing
* Previous experience of wiring electrical components and systems on HGV trailers
* Demonstrated skillset using various hand tools
* Ability to read and work from drawings
* Ability to ensure production target output and quality is maintained

Salary ranging from £28,701.00 - £39,771.00 p.a dependent on experience (£13.30ph - £18.43ph).

Working Hours:
Your hours of work will be 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday - Friday (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day) with a 3.30pm finish on Fridays. Nights may also be available; hours to be confirmed.
You will be expected on occasion to work later in the evening or weekends as business needs require.
