Contract Scotland is working in partnership with a leading civil engineering contractor to recruit a Sub Agent for a significant infrastructure project. This is a freelance role with long-term prospects and a clear scope of works focused on large-scale earthworks and associated groundworks.
Project Overview
Bulk earthworks (approximately 1 million cubic metres – cut and fill)
Installation of surface water management systems
Construction of haul roads and access roads
SUDS and swale features
Piling platform construction
Key Responsibilities
As Sub Agent, you will play an essential role in supporting the site team and coordinating daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and managing RAMS
Producing bi-weekly lookahead programmes
Supporting and overseeing the engineering team on site
Assisting the site foreman with operational delivery
Coordinating site activities and subcontractors
Managing the earthworks material tracker
Overseeing quality assurance processes, including testing and compliance
Contract Details
53-week initial contract with potential for further extensions
Competitive Daily rates available
Standard Monday to Friday working pattern (weekend work not currently planned)
