Role: Bid Coordinator
Based: Harlow plus home working available

Howells are working with a leading Passive Fire Protection business that are looking to recruit a Bid Coordinator to work for their team based in Harlow.
What you will be doing as Bid Coordinator:
1. Support in the initial evaluation of opportunities in close collaboration with line manager
2. Co-ordinating tender/enquiry deadlines, logging and categorising onto CRM system
3. Managing bid documentation to maintain effective record keeping
4. Assist with and populate qualification/selection questionnaires/applications
5. Support with the formatting/quality of bid/tenders and supporting material
6. Ability to review client questionnaires and provide general business information
7. Co-ordinate clarifications during tender process to keep internal team informed
8. Ability to manage and maintain existing bid library
9. Diary management, booking of meetings to ensure bid approval process is followed
10. Co-ordinate communication across internal teams to ensure standard information is regularly updated
11. Liaise with internal departments to produce timely information/pricing
12. Maintain annual company accreditation questionnaire
13. Provide general administrative support from time to time
14. Organise and schedule meetings
15. Provide support where required to Sales Co-ordinator in the management of enquiries
What you'll have as a Bid Coordinator:
Experience:
1. Attention to detail and strong written English skills
2. Proficient in MS Word
3. Ability to work independently as part of a team
4. Work from own initiative
Ideal experience but not essential:
1. InDesign
2. Powerpoint
3. Experience working in a bid coordination role
Bid Coordinator Qualifications:
1. GCSEs at Grades 9 to 4 (A* to C) or equivalent including Maths & English
2. ASFP Level 1
