We are looking to hire a Hardware Broker Specialist to join our Wetherby office. If you are looking to start your career or gain more experience in sales with outstanding growth opportunity, this may be the role for you What you will do: Responsible for answering, quoting and negotiating the sales of equipment on all UK stock incoming RFQ’s (requests for quotes). Proactively selling hardware acquired through various channels within our UK/EU inventory to a global audience. Where necessary - 'brokering’ hardware as per clients’ requests (purchase to sell) Respond to and resolve customer queries - assisting with tracking details, shipping quotes, returns procedures etc. Ensure sellable inventory and its market value remain accurate. Managing trade website stock listings. Help managing stockholding - reporting aged products to maintain realistic stock levels. Reporting of sell-through (Revenue/Margin/Products) on a monthly basis. Back fill for the ITAD business specialist when/where necessary. Push any incoming leads for TPM/Managed Services/ITAD to relevant departments. Manage and track any RMA (returns) from equipment sold and report monthly on quality discrepancies. Assist the billing dept. to resolve any queries that relate to your sales orders What you will bring: Sales experience preferred, but a demonstrated hunger to drive sales independently is just as important. Customer service skills/experience essential to this role. Strong work ethic & personable approach required: proactively building a customer base that will remain with you throughout your career will deliver strong repeat business rewards. Good time management to remain on top of workload a must. Outgoing communication skills required - whilst a lot of this role will be done via electronic methods (email/e-messaging etc), being available and speaking on the phone / via Teams meetings will only benefit the seller. This role requires the use of work management systems in-house inventory/sales processing tools. Training will be given but you must be proficient in using technology-based software (including Microsoft products) A strong resilience and an appetite to succeed will set you apart. You must have a "Can Do Attitude" with a real desire to better and develop yourself. What you will get: Salary up to £30,000 dependent on experience uncapped commission.
