Are you passionate about supporting women with lived experience of drug and alcohol recovery? The Nelson Trust is seeking a dedicated Lived Experience Peer Support Coordinator to join our Women’s Community Services team at the Bristol Women’s Centre. In this role, you will engage and support women, helping them build their skills, connect with family and friends, and manage their home and finances. You will listen to their needs, strengths, and ambitions to co-produce the services we design and deliver. Your responsibilities will include facilitating a ‘women’s voices’ meeting in Bristol, supporting the completion of service user satisfaction surveys, and providing recovery-oriented individual support. You will also deliver and co-facilitate group sessions alongside keyworkers, support ‘lunch clubs’ within the women’s centre, and encourage women to get more involved and learn new skills. Additionally, you will be responsible for updating and recording relevant internal systems and processes, undertaking general administration tasks, and producing information sheets and posters of centre activities. We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and time management skills, the ability to work collaboratively with others, and strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships both internally and externally. You should be flexible, able to work under pressure, and have a keen attention to detail and accuracy. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience in the charity sector are desirable.
