Description and Requirements
Are you an experienced HR professional regarded as a source of expertise in the HR field? Can you collaborate effectively and implement strategic HR goals?
In this role, you will be responsible for working with managers and employees to help them achieve business objectives by:
1. Developing and implementing operational HR plans and strategic initiatives.
2. Implementing HR projects, best practices, policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
Reporting to the UKI HR Director, you will be a key driver of change in the market and the business. Working across all aspects of the function’s remit, you will be responsible for the implementation and success of HR policies and initiatives.
The contract will be for a limited period of 12 months, covering a maternity backfill.

3. Collaborating with managers and leaders to ensure employees have the skills and resources they need, and building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
4. Discussing business strategies and HR challenges, and partnering with managers to implement strategic people goals.
5. Coaching managers on ways to engage their employees and lead effectively, and supporting them in implementing people plans for recruitment, training, restructuring, and succession.
6. Initiating and implementing HR programs or projects that drive change and support the people agenda.
7. Using your experience and knowledge of the HR industry to impact change management, early careers, employee engagement, talent development, and talent analytics.
8. Protecting and supporting the company and employees regarding data protection, redundancy, TUPE, discipline and grievance, working time regulations, discrimination, and terms and conditions.
9. Providing guidance on local employment laws and processes, and staying updated on HR trends and policy changes affecting the workplace.
What do we expect from you?
10. University degree with a professional qualification from an accredited chartered institute such as the CIPD (ideally Level 5+).
11. 5+ years of experience in HR, either as an HR specialist or HR partner.
12. Strong understanding of learning & development, reward, compensation & benefits, and local employment laws and processes.
13. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to different levels of the organization.
14. Coaching skills, comfortable offering advice to peers and junior employees, and strong data and situational analytic capability.
15. Knowledge of HR trends and changes in policy affecting the workplace.
