A key element of the role is providing high quality analytical insight to drive decision making. You will be responsible for: Production of the monthly financials for the review of the Head of Strategic Change. Engagement with stakeholder(s) to manage the cost base and be involved in the planning and forecasting cycles. You will work with our Change Management experts to understand and manage opportunities, impacts and risks of any new change management initiative. The role is pivotal in supporting: Development and improvement of business/financial processes. Collaborating with the wider finance team, to ensure financial reporting, systems, and processes are completed as per timetable and reflect the expense position correctly with commentary to aid understanding where appropriate. You will build and maintain strong partnerships to share best practice and standards, and you will engage with the provision of information for external auditors. The Analyst will work closely with the Head of Strategic Change to provide high quality analysis, insight and decision support to business stakeholders to help achieve the Group's and Segments objectives and strategy. As an Analyst, you will assist the Head of Strategic Change in monthly preparation of impacts of transformation, reporting and consolidation of all strategic initiatives. About You You will have strong working knowledge of a Finance business and varying degrees of appreciation for its strategy, processes, and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance. Experience of working in a Finance function within Financial Services (including capital, regulatory and liquidity requirements) or Big 4 audit experience would be advantageous. You will have familiarity with working with multiple stakeholders and to tight timescales in a delivery focused fashion. You will have experience of working in a highly results-orientated, growth and performance driven environment, with a focus on excellence. You will demonstrate strong attention to detail, producing high quality work to timely deliverables. You will be able to work with agility and at pace with limited supervision, escalating as appropriate. You will show credibility, professionalism and strong personal integrity and evidence the ability to think about business in a way that is abstracted from how business functions are implemented by technology. You will demonstrate critical thinking skills, an initiative-taking approach to the resolution of problems and obstacles. Importantly, you will have extensive communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organisation; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualisations. Coupled with strong analytical, inter-personal and presentation skills. You will be a collaborator, able to work effectively at all levels of an organisation with the ability to facilitate, negotiate and influence others to move toward consensus. In addition, a proven history demonstrating skills and knowledge in the following areas would be desirable: Experience of working in an analytical role within the Financial Services industry. Strong interpersonal and relationship management capability. Ability to interrogate systems and navigate complex infrastructure and organisation. Demonstrable history of delivering on time and quality. Strong Communications and People Skills to support colleagues at all levels around the business. Good time management skills with the ability to flex to changes in demands and priority. Excellent data visualisation and ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
