We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Director for Professional & Executive Education to join our dynamic Commercial Directorate. Reporting to the Commercial Director, this is an exciting new role for the University to play a key role in delivering Professional and Executive Education programmes in our chosen markets. This is a cross-University position and as a start-up you will be responsible for developing the strategy through to implementation for our Professional and Executive Education offer. You will personally lead on business growth, client acquisition and ensuring our on boarding process for new clients in this area. As a senior leader within the Commercial Directorate, this role will also support the Commercial Directorate in its role to grow new business ventures and successful partnerships for the University. To be successful in this role, you will: Demonstrate considerable knowledge of Professional and Executive Development Be a highly motivated leader that can build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders Have a demonstrated track record of driving commercial success via business development Bring superb organisation skills and be adept at juggling complex workloads Have experience working at C-suite and Director level, in order to establish credibility with clients, the Schools and wider University colleagues Have leadership and management experience and the ability to collaborate, influence and lead change Strong business acumen and financial understanding, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis A strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion is a must, coupled with a genuine passion for working at Loughborough University In this unique role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the role that goes beyond the ordinary.
