Roving Registered Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal
Are you a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse seeking an exciting opportunity? Join the dedicated team at Oakfield Veterinary Group and embark on a fulfilling career journey.
This role is perfect for an RVN who enjoys variety, meeting new people, and working in different environments. It would particularly suit a nurse with previous locum experience or someone who thrives in a dynamic setting. As you rotate between all three branches, you'll have the chance to collaborate with a wide range of team members, including a medicine-certificate holder, a GPCert holder in Exotic Animal Practice, and a nurse with a dental certificate. Additionally, you'll gain hands-on experience with specialised equipment, such as the laser machine at our Atherstone branch.
Your daily routine will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities, including assisting with procedures in prep and theatre, anaesthetic duties, nurse appointments, patient care in wards, and occasional reception work. This variety not only keeps your work engaging and stimulating but also provides valuable opportunities for learning and professional growth in a dynamic environment.
Your typical working hours would be eight-hour shifts between the hours of 8am – 7pm Monday- Friday, along with the shared Saturday rota. There is no out-of-hours requirement. We are closed on Sundays and Bank holidays.
