About The Role
German language proficiency is an absolute requirement for the German Speaking - Office Manager role at IMSM. This key position involves overseeing our Chelmsford office and Call Centre Team, reporting directly to the European Manager. The successful candidate must work closely with internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery, maintain the highest standards of quality, and stay updated on evolving ISO standards. Fluency in German is essential to effectively liaise with clients and team members across our European operations.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Overseeing employee scheduling and resolving potential conflicts, while ensuring the efficient utilisation of dialler systems, manual calling processes, and data management (both hard copy and digital)
* Establishing, refining, and upholding company procedures to ensure operational consistency and efficiency
* Driving organisational values and delivering strategic objectives in alignment with the European Manager’s vision
* Managing and resolving queries from Area Managers with a solutions-focused approach
* Leading recruitment efforts for Call Centre employees to build a high-performing team
* Delivering training sessions, including German-language training, as required to enhance team capabilities
* Overseeing payroll administration and ensuring accurate processing for staff in Chelmsford, Düsseldorf, and other German-based teams
* Collaborating with the German office, German Accountant, and other IMSM offices or departments to maintain seamless communication and operational alignment
* Planning, coordinating, and facilitating meetings, including managing agendas, documenting actionable points, and ensuring follow-through.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar managerial role.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and German are essential; proficiency in French is an advantage.
* Demonstrated strong analytical capabilities, with expertise in tracking, interpreting, and leveraging performance metrics to drive success.
