Knowle Park Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Head Teacher to join our team and lead our staff professional development, curriculum development and its consistent implementation across the school.

Your Role: As Assistant Head Teacher, you will have a pivotal role in shaping the curriculum at Knowle Park. Having already developed our own tailored curriculum, you will lead its consistent implementation across the school. You will support staff in delivering engaging and high-quality lessons, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive academically and socially. Your leadership will help foster a culture of continuous improvement and a love for learning, making a lasting impact on both students and staff.
In addition to your leadership responsibilities, this role also includes a class teaching commitment of 2 days per week. You will be expected to deliver outstanding lessons, acting as a role model for teaching practice across the school. As an outstanding practitioner, you will also be expected to support staff through teaching demonstrations, helping them to refine their skills and deliver the best possible education for our pupils.
Furthermore, you will lead on CPD (Continuing Professional Development) for our staff, driving high-quality professional learning across the school. You will work closely with teachers to identify areas for development, organize training, and ensure the ongoing improvement of teaching practices throughout the school.
