Providing administrative support for branch operational activities and Partner initiatives. To add value to the efficient and profitable running of your operational area in order to achieve your business and personal objectives, along with those of your wider team and branch.

Salary range - For this role the salary starts from £25,200 per annum, depending on skills and experience.
Contract type - This is a Permanent role.
Work Pattern - 38.75 hours per week.
* Monday to Friday: 08:00-16:00, with flexibility.
Location - Herbert Parkinson, Darwen.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the branch administration function; providing administrative support, guidance & skills where necessary.
* Support operational managers with all Partner and Workday related activities; to include accurate completion of all Partner timesheets, absence recording and other associated activities.
* Provide support in the recruitment and hiring process.
* Provide support for careers events and involvement with schools and colleges.
* Support community projects and charities by acting as liaison with HP and managing donations.
* Arrange meetings, events and agendas. Ensure that the appropriate information, facilities and refreshments are available.
* Maintain Partner development/training requirement to the highest standard to meet the branch and mandatory needs.
* Facilitate visits and branch tours.
* Oversee the running of Reception such as meet and greet visitors, issue access passes, take payments from Partners.
* Provide note-taking support at meetings as and when required.
* Share knowledge and insights with colleagues to develop department and branch performance.
* Be flexible to support across other areas of the branch and departments when required.
* Support the effective management of operational branch legalities.
* Identify and communicate opportunities for continuous improvement and greater efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience skills you’ll need
* Previous administrative experience.
* Highly organised and ability to prioritise tasks.
* Ability to meet deadlines and manage own workload.
* Good working knowledge of IT systems, including Google documents, slides and sheets.
* Prioritise and plan effectively.
* Decision-making in day-to-day and Event Management.
* Good written and oral skills, to be able to communicate plans quickly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable skills
* Note-taking skills.
* Working in a management office in a manufacturing environment.
