There is an opportunity to join our cancer services team who support a wide range of clinical staff and processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking early stages of patient pathways and supporting some less complex meetings and tertiary pathways for cancer patients. This involves identifying, collecting and electronically entering data with an overall view to improve patient access times and the delivery of national waiting times and mandated clinical datasets.
This is a fulltime post for a 2 year fixed contract but would consider part-time hours for the right candidate. We would also be open to appointing as part of an apprenticeship role at level 3 or 4 for those wishing to develop.
The Multidisciplinary Coordinator team are required to work closely with the Cancer Multi–disciplinary teams (MDT) and Cancer Nurse Specialists (CNS) to ensure timely patient care, efficient and well prepared meetings, and support the team in collecting and evidencing good working practice in line with national Cancer Standards and National Clinical Audits.
