The Role:
* Location: Coleraine
* Hours: 40 per week (Monday–Friday, half-day Fridays!)
* Contract: Permanent

Key responsibilities:
* Develop and implement HSE plans to ensure full compliance and best practices.
* Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and audits to maintain safety standards.
* Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures.
* Deliver H&S training and support managers in driving a safety-first culture.
* Advise on fire safety, hazardous materials, machinery safeguarding, and regulations.
* Keep up to date with HSENI legislation and industry best practices.
* Liaise with subcontractors to ensure compliance with site safety protocols.
* Produce reports, safety bulletins, and performance data for management.
What you need:
* 5+ years’ HSE experience in engineering or construction.
* Strong site-based safety management experience.
* NEBOSH National Construction Certificate (or equivalent).
* Solid knowledge of H&S legislation in the construction/engineering sectors.
* Full driving licence – site travel required.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
