Job summary Applications are invited for the post of Consultant Paediatrician with an interest in Paediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) and the option of a subspeciality interest in an interest that complements departmental needs (non-essential). This is a replacement Less than Full time permanent post (8 PAs) to commence September 2024. We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic colleague to join our Paediatric Department. The post will be based primarily in the paediatric ED department and paediatric outpatients. The post holder will cover the paediatric emergency department (PED) on a 1:5 week rotating basis which includes a rapid access clinic and telephone advice service for local GPs. Outpatient clinics will be part of the timetable during non-PED attending weeks and there is opportunity for this role to include sub specialty clinics.
