One of our clients are looking for a Content Strategist to join their expanding team.
As our Content Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in developing engaging, cohesive, and consistent messaging that resonates with their target audience. You’ll collaborate closely with other marketing professionals to bring a personable, authentic voice to their brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy Development
* Design and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the companies brand vision and values, focusing on delivering value at every stage of the customer journey.
* Conduct research and analysis to identify content needs, preferences, and gaps across different customer segments.
* Utilise insights from customer feedback, analytics, and industry trends to continuously refine and improve the content strategy.
* Define the Prospect tone of voice guidelines, ensuring consistency across all communication channels.
Customer Journey Optimisation
* Map and optimise content across customer journeys, identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience and drive engagement at each stage.
* Work closely with the marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure content supports customer needs and aligns with business goals.
Social Media Strategy and Management
* Develop and execute a social media strategy that builds brand awareness, engages our target audience, and strengthens the Prospect community.
* Create, schedule, and manage content across key social media platforms, maintaining a consistent brand presence and engaging with followers.
* Monitor social media trends, performance metrics, and competitor activity, adjusting strategies as needed to optimise engagement and growth.
Content Creation and Curation
* Produce high-quality, compelling content (copy / video) for various channels, including social media posts, online display ads, advice articles, website journeys, email journeys, and promotional materials.
* Collaborate with web developers, sales, designers, videographers and external partners to create visually engaging, on-brand content that reinforces the Prospect tone of voice.
Performance Analysis and Reporting
* Regularly report on content and social media performance to the Head of Marketing, providing insights and recommendations based on key metrics.
PR communications
* Responsible for crafting and distributing impactful PR communications to enhance brand visibility and perception.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Content Strategist or similar role, preferably within a B2C customer-centric organisation.
* Strong understanding of content marketing principles and experience optimising content across customer journeys.
* Demonstrable experience in social media strategy, including hands-on experience creating and managing content across multiple platforms.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling.
* Experience in defining and developing brand tone of voice.
* Proficiency with social media management tools, and analytics platforms.
* Proficiency managing multiple projects while maintaining close attention to detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with strong interpersonal and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Background in the property sector.
* Familiarity with SEO principles and how they relate to content strategy.
* Creative and proactive approach to content creation, with an understanding of the latest content and social media trends.
