Requirements You will have a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy and be registered with Health Care Professions Council (HCPC). Responsibilities You will provide an effective high-quality integrated occupational therapy service to children, adults and older adults who have a physical disability in the community, in Dundee City Council’s residential and other establishments and in hospitals ensuring effective statutory requirements are met. The Individual You will have experience of working with individuals with a physical disability. You will have a working knowledge of legislation, policy and good practice associated with occupational therapy service provision and experience of working collaboratively with other professionals. You will be able to communicate effectively with individuals and families and to relate positively with colleagues, in social work and other agencies. You will be able to undertake assessments and be a creative thinker able to consider different options. You will have the ability to prioritise workloads and meet challenges and deadlines. You will also have the ability to travel to undertake duties of this post effectively and to work out with normal working hours. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
