An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Care Management Supervisor to join our dynamic management team within our Hawick office where you will work closely with the Service/Registered Manager(s) giving support, direction and supervision to all support workers. We have 2 vacancies available;
1 x full-time Monday to Friday and some weekend availability when necessary
1 x part-time Tuesday & Thursday ideally, though this negotiable and some weekend availability when necessary
As Care Management Supervisor you will join the existing team of highly committed Managers during this exciting time of rapid growth and expansion within SRS Care Solutions Scotland .
To be considered for this role, you should have previous experience in a similar role or relevant experience and are ready to take the next step in your career.
Main Responsibilities
· Managing and supporting staff to ensure they can perform their roles safely and to the best of their ability.
· supporting the manager to run the workplace according to standards and legislation.
· Developing care plans that outline what care and support individuals need.
· Leading team meetings and doing inductions, supervisions and appraisals.
· Ensuring compliance of service users files including auditing and documentation.
· Liaising with new employee, before start date, and giving comprehensive induction.
· Building meaningful relationships with service users and families.
· Ensuring relevant compliance procedures are adhered to.
· Observation of the Birdie system managing your geographical area.
· Following of accident/incident reporting procedures in a timely manner.
· Carrying out service user reviews.
· Responsible for carrying out service user quality assurance visits.
· Participate in on call rota as required therefore flexibility is required.
· Shift cover in all areas when necessary.
· Liaise with external partner agencies and statutory bodies as required.
Driving licence is necessary and current SVQ Level 2/3 would be an advantage.
