We wish to appoint a Housekeeper to join our Team on D Ward. We are an Admission and Day Case Unit within the Division of Specialist Services, and are looking for someone who has a 'can-do' approach, enthusiasm, high standards and understands the importance of a clean, well organised, equipped clinical area.
The post is on a permanent basis for 20 hours per week with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday ( 08:00 - 12:00 )

The role will require you to work across all areas in the Trust which includes those that are designated as positive, asymptomatic and negative COVID wards.
The Post holder will be responsible for maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness on the ward, maintaining stock levels and completing regular stock-take audits, ordering Ward supplies, providing refreshments to post-op patients, Daily/weekly checks as per infection control guidelines.

On-Call
Please note that senior positions (AFC band 8A or above) may be expected to participate in an on-call rota, if the role is predominantly operational.
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining cleaning standards on the ward.
• Ensure the ward is safe and tidy at all times.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks and food.
• Check the ward has sufficient stock and order Ward supplies.
• Respect the privacy and dignity of patients whilst carrying out household duties.
