About The Role
The position of Sales Development Representative offers an exceptional opportunity for any aspiring sales and marketing professional. Being part of the SME Sales Team, you will be key in driving our sales and growth efforts forward, targeting customers where the employee sizes are typically over 1 to 500 employees.
This role is to prospect and generate appointments for our Sales Team by generating & qualifying sales leads and converting them into opportunities, using a variety of channels including our existing database, qualifying inbound inquiries, and outreach.
A smart, creative, problem-solver will deliver an aligned message that generates leads to acquire new clients into our customer base.
Your role will require engaging with prospects, including business owners, directors, and HR/Payroll professionals. You'll showcase our products and services, deliver tailored marketing content, and identify new potential opportunities within our CRM.

Which tasks can you expect?
* Contacting Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) promptly to maintain their interest and assess how we will match and provide SD Worx services.
* Qualifying Prospects (BANT): determining the prospects' needs and requirements, assessing their budget, engaging decision-makers, and gauging their purchasing timeline.
* Informing and nurturing relationships by providing clear and comprehensive information about products or services, addressing inquiries, and continuously engaging to nurture the relationship.
* Maintaining a continuous flow of qualified opportunities to the sales team and supporting the sales process with effective lead management.
* Reporting and tracking performance based on our set of KPIs, including appointment generation, sales pipeline, sales conversion rate, and sales targets.
* Continuous improvement & development via effective learning for products, services, and lead generations.
What do you have to offer?
* Experience within a Sales/Business Development Representative role (SAAS/Services company is ideal).
* Self-starter with strong opportunity qualification, objection handling, and time management ability.
* Good understanding of call structuring, conversation control, and pitching.
* Ability to work in a high-energy sales team environment.
* Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, and strong writing skills.
* Proficient with standard corporate tools (email, voicemail, MS Office) and comfortable with technology, proficient in using sales and CRM software tools.
* Goal-oriented and motivated mindset to achieve lead generation and qualification targets.
* Sales training and salesforce.com experience a plus.
