Role Overview: As the Business Data Analyst & Continuous Improvement Manager, you will play a critical role in analysing business data and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation. Leveraging Six Sigma methodologies, you will help drive data-driven decision-making, optimise processes, and improve operational efficiency. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders in various departments to identify improvement opportunities and lead projects aimed at increasing performance and quality. Key Responsibilities: Business Data Analysis: Collect, analyse, and interpret large sets of business data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate key findings to senior leadership and various departments. Use data analytics tools and techniques to measure business performance, identify inefficiencies, and support decision-making. Work with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track business metrics. Continuous Improvement (Six Sigma): Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives across the business, using Six Sigma principles to drive process optimisation. Implement and oversee projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, quality control, and customer satisfaction. Facilitate Six Sigma training and support teams in applying Six Sigma methodologies to solve business problems. Work with senior management to define improvement goals and develop actionable plans. Measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives and make adjustments as needed. Collaboration and Leadership: Partner with department leaders to identify pain points and provide data-backed solutions to improve business performance. Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet desired outcomes. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making throughout the organization. Key Requirements: Proven experience as a Business Data Analyst, Continuous Improvement Manager, or similar role, with a focus on Six Sigma methodologies. Strong experience in data analysis, process optimisation, and project management. Six Sigma certification (Black Belt preferred). Experience in the automotive industry or related sectors is highly desirable. Proficiency with data analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other relevant platforms. Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate effectively to various stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across departments and levels of the organisation. A proactive approach to driving change, with a passion for continuous improvement. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with Lean, Kaizen, and other process improvement frameworks is a plus.
