SQA faces a period of significant change, and our HR team will see an increase in the work it does. This is an exciting time for us and an opportunity for an individual to join us as a People Operations Administrator and help us deliver a service to our customer, which is second to none.
We welcome applications from people who enjoy team working, are forward thinking and enjoy learning to support a wide range of HR services and projects to support us achieve our ambitious goals. It would be ideal if you can demonstrate experience within an HR function and a customer-focused attitude. It is preferable to have experience of Business World or a similar HR system, although not essential.
Occasional travel will be required between our office in Edinburgh and Glasgow sites.
The successful candidate will be required to provide professional administrative to support for HR processes and projects in order to provide effective and efficient service across all business area.
You must be able to demonstrate experience of the following:
* Working in an HR or general administrative position.
* Taking and producing concise and accurate notes from formal HR meetings.
* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
* Good organisational skills and a methodical approach to work.
* Proficient in the use of MS Office packages (or similar) and relevant computer systems.
* Ability to work on own initiative and meet strict deadlines.
Applicants, as a minimum, should be educated to SCQF Level 5 and/or have directly relevant work experience of providing administrative support in a multi-disciplinary HR environment.
