Do your bit by joining our team as a Telemetry Engineering Support Technician on a 12 month secondment/ fixed term contract. What you’ll do In this role, you'll be all about providing top-notch support to our key stakeholders, including the Intelligent Control Centre, Customer Service Delivery, Capital Delivery Partners, and users of our Corporate Telemetry Systems. We need someone with a technical or operational background who can roll up their sleeves and help us improve our telemetry systems and customer service. As a Telemetry Engineering Technician, you'll play a crucial role in making sure our telemetry systems are up to par. You'll configure and develop our corporate telemetry systems, keeping them in line with our ISO 9001 accreditation and g et creative with graphical schematics. You will a ssist in managing our telemetry-focused risk-based maintenance program and d ive into data manipulation and business reporting. Additionally, you will m ake sure our assets are harmonized, k eep our stakeholders in the loop and p rovide technical guidance to support enhancement projects. What you’ll bring You should be a whiz with IT and be able to design systems. Customizing graphic and data packages should be a piece of cake for you. You also enjoy logical fault finding and have strong analytical skills. You'll need an in-depth understanding of telemetry procedures along with g reat communication skills. If you’re new to Scottish Water, you’ll join us on a starting salary of £33,560. Performance-driven pay progression would then allow you to move through the range to a maximum of £44,140.
