Main duties of the job As a network GP within Dorset Primary Care Network, there are lots of innovations happening that you may want to be part of, you may decide looking after our elderly patients and working with the Frailty team is for you, no problem Our well-established clinical team would welcome you in taking care of our elderly care home population. Respiratory may be your interest, our highly skilled respiratory team would love to have your support as a closely working network GP. We have a range of Long-Term Condition programmes currently underway that you may feel suit your skills or in which you may want to explore or develop further.No problem we have a team of clinical and non-clinical leads that would support you every step of the way. You may want to develop your special interest by undertaking new areas of clinical practice within Mid Dorset PCN, such as womens health for example, our clinical and administration teams would be on hand to support you in this. You may want to split your week with general medicine combined with your specialist interest, thats no problem either, we can accommodate this way of working too. If this suits you better, our network GP role will include referrals, ordering investigations, examination and liaising with clinical colleagues across our close-knit network practices as well as Community and Secondary healthcare, all without the burden of a patient list. About us Mid Dorset Primary Care Network, provides central clinical and administrative services for patients across the eight GP practices within the Mid Dorset area.
