My client in the Bristol Area is currently in need of a Corporate Accounts Assistant due to expansion.
The Role
1. Preparing a small portfolio of dormant accounts and ensuring completion to deadline
2. Preparing and/or reviewing non-complex small company accounts and Corporation tax returns
3. Drafting more complex small company accounts to be passed for completion and review by a senior team member
4. Basic dividend planning, with assistance
5. Drafting basic partnership and non-resident company tax returns for review prior to submission
6. Use of Xero for bookkeeping assistance and updating of clients records following accounts preparation
7. Assistance with providing information to our UK and US tax teams on clients’ corporate position

Working Hours
This role will be 18-22 hours per week, based around core working hours of 9:00am to 2:30pm (with some flexibility). This position also includes a comprehensive induction and full funding to pursue professional qualifications.
About You
1. You will be AAT Level 3/4 or ACCA/ACA Part-Qualified
2. Experience preparing Company accounts using accounting software
3. Able to manage own workload and be a flexible team-player
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
5. Able to produce high quality work in a fast-paced environment
6. A confident, positive, and professional approach
7. Strong IT skills, specifically Excel and able to pick up new IT packages quickly
8. Strong attention to detail
The following would be desirable, but is not required:
* Knowledge and experience of VAT
* Knowledge of basic LLP Accounts
* Experience of clients with international elements
* Knowledge of Xero (training will be provided)
