Role Description
You will work closely with innovative startups and scale ups, supporting them across the entire employee lifecycle. From succession planning and performance management to culture-building, you’ll act as a strategic partner and hands-on advisor, helping clients navigate the challenges of rapid growth. Additionally, you’ll contribute to the growth of Founders HR by supporting lead generation and client relationship development.
Key Responsibilities
Working with a dedicated group of clients, you will undertake a range of responsibilities, including:
* Conduct HR audits to assess existing functions and recommend tailored solutions
* Develop and implement people strategies aligned with business objectives
* Create and manage employee handbooks, contracts, and policies to ensure compliance
* Oversee onboarding, development, and succession planning
* Manage key HR processes, including onboarding, performance reviews, talent development and engagement initiatives
* Supporting on / managing employee relations issues
* Design and deliver frameworks for organisational design, leadership development, and culture enhancement
* Provide guidance on HR systems
* Design and deliver compensation strategies, and advise on benefits management
* Act as a trusted business partner, offering real-time coaching and advisory on HR challenges unique to startups
* Contribute to Founders HR marketing activities, including attending key events.
About You
You’re an experienced HR professional who thrives in the fast-paced, ever-changing world of startups and scale ups. You’re equally comfortable strategising with founders and getting hands-on to execute. Empathetic, business-savvy, and resourceful, you excel at crafting people strategies that drive growth and engagement.
Requirements:
* Strong generalist HR experience, ideally within startups or high-growth environments. You are likely to be working as a HR Generalist or HR Business Partner at present and are seeking a new challenge!
* Proven ability to cover the full employee lifecycle, from hiring to offboarding.
* Strategic thinker with an execution mindset – able to balance vision with hands-on delivery.
* Experience developing HR policies, processes, and frameworks.
* Exceptional communication, organisational, and project management skills.
* Experience in coaching, leadership development, or training (preferred)
