We’re recruiting for a 2nd Line Support Specialist to join a software company based in Shoreham-by-Sea. You will be triaging and resolving complex application issues, investigating bugs whilst ensuring high customer satisfaction. You’ll also focus on troubleshooting system issues and using Unix & SQL commands. As a 2nd Line Support, your key responsibilities will include: Troubleshooting and resolving support cases Receiving, prioritising and triaging incoming support tickets Replicating customer-reported issues and resolving them Talking to customers over the phone and via email Requirements: Experience with Linux Excellent communication skills both written and verbally Knowledge of SQL Benefits: 25 days annual leave day off on your birthday Company pension Free parking Hybrid working This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on an annual salary of £23,500. The role is fully office based in Shoreham and after a successful 6 months’ probation you can then transfer onto a hybrid pattern.
