General Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Merseyside, Liverpool Job Type: Contract, Full-Time Salary: £12.90 - £13.50 Per hour Job Description: Job Duties: Supporting teachers in the delivery of educational activities Assisting with classroom management and student supervision Providing one-to-one support for students with learning difficulties Helping to prepare teaching materials and resources Participating in parent-teacher meetings and school events Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team Education: Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification Experience: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or classroom support role Experience working with children with special educational needs Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of child development and learning processes Ability to adapt to different learning styles and individual needs Basic knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures Preferred Qualifications: First Aid certification Additional training in behaviour management techniques Working Conditions: Full-time hours, Monday to Friday Working within a school environment Potential involvement in extracurricular activities and school trips All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
