You will lead a team of Financial Administrators including AP & AR, fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace environment while promoting professional development, collaboration, and engagement. You will be expected to work closely with the Group Head of Finance to deploy initiatives and manage people processes.

What you’ll do
1. Take overall responsibility for the delivery and performance of all allocated workstreams and transactional processes.
2. Be fully accountable for ensuring your team delivers agreed service levels and is compliant with established processes.
3. Review, plan, and implement a change programme that improves the efficiency and effectiveness of people and processes.
4. Management of cashflow and reporting working capital requirements.
5. Manage, lead, and develop a team of AP & AR administrators to deliver accurate and timely invoice management and credit control.
6. Proactively manage the relationship with customers and suppliers.
7. Support with internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance and regulatory timelines.
8. Provide data for management accounts, forecasts, budgets, and other ad-hoc reports within deadlines.
9. Ensure appropriate and relevant governance structures, policies, and processes are followed and engender a culture of continuous improvement.
10. Support the Group Head of Finance with ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
11. Responsible for office facilities management.
What you’ll need to be successful
1. ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience in finance and accounting.
2. Demonstrated experience of successfully developing, managing, and leading a shared services team.
3. Experience of successfully managing AP/AR with sound knowledge of what good looks like.
4. Effective communication skills, ability to liaise with all levels of internal stakeholders, both verbal and written.
5. Excellent customer service experience – sets high standards and seeks feedback for the purpose of making improvements.
6. Highly numerate and analytical with a problem-solving aptitude.
7. Humble and curious – knows the importance of team effort and seeks collaboration.
