Strode College has a rare and exciting opportunity for someone to join our King’s Trust Team as an Assistant Team Leader.
The programme is specifically designed to engage 16-25 year olds who are not in education, employment or training (NEETs) and provides them with an opportunity to re-engage in learning, participate in community projects, teamwork and individual work placements.
The purpose of this post is to assist the team leader and provide support to the students on the team programme. Time will be spent with students in the classroom who need extra help to keep them focussed, on task and up to date.
The Programme will require the post holder to accompany the students on residentials and off-site or to other College centres to undertake projects, enterprises or other activities associated with the course programme. There will be a requirement to undertake administrative tasks relating to student retention and achievement.
It is essential that you have good administrative, organisational and communication skills with a supportive, positive and non-judgemental attitude.
