Our client is dedicated to delivering high-quality architectural services across various sectors, with a strong emphasis on traditional residential and hospitality projects.
Our client is expanding their team to work on several exceptional residential and hospitality developments both in the UK and overseas. They are looking for an Architectural Technologist with a minimum of five years’ post-qualification experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Engage fully in most aspects of the project as part of a team, gaining valuable experience across all project stages.
2. Focus on RIBA Stages 4 and 5, including design development and technical design.
3. Coordinate with consultant teams and prepare Building Regulations documentation.
4. Develop tender information and construction documentation (NBS and drawings).
5. Review shop drawings and conduct site inspections
Essential Skills:
6. Proficiency in Vectorworks or AutoCAD.
7. Proven experience in detailed and technical design, and the delivery of tender packages and construction documentation, including drawings and specifications (NBS preferred).
8. Strong coordination skills with consultant teams.
9. Site experience.
10. Good working knowledge of current UK Building Regulations and Approved Documents.
11. Clear understanding of best practice detailing and specification of building materials, products, and workmanship.
12. Experience in the residential and/or hospitality sectors.
13. Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English.
