Strutt & Parker - Head of Office (Chichester) (SP1443)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Director to head up our successful Estate Agency team in Chichester.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leading and managing the Sales team
2. Achieving personal and team financial targets and budget
3. Monitoring and driving team KPIs and individual targets
4. Monitoring (in conjunction with local COT) status of deals within KYC
5. Ensuring delivery of timely and high quality advice and transactions to clients
6. Undertaking business planning activities in line with business line and company strategy
7. Accurately forecasting fees for the office/region
8. Assisting in developing initiatives to improve revenue and profitability
Clients and Business Development
1. Maintaining and building client relationships
2. Proactive in developing new business
3. Monitoring service to clients via regular reviews and promptly rectifying any shortfall in quality
4. Identifying and following up on any cross selling opportunities
5. Maintaining a strong pipeline of clients and properties
6. Internal and external networking
People
1. Motivating the team, setting clear objectives and leading new initiatives to maximise performance
2. Instilling an ethos of focus on business development in the team
3. Ensuring a consistent and high quality service
4. Actively communicating to the team and supporting the vision of the Residential business line
5. Coaching/mentoring of team members
6. Delegating effectively to provide challenge and learning for the team
7. Keeping abreast of market developments and sharing these regularly with the team and business as required
Experience
1. Solid experience in heading up a Sales team
2. Highly driven and target orientated
3. Able to work at a strategic level and maintains a network of senior contacts and decision makers
4. Self starter and can work with little supervision and, where appropriate, under pressure
5. Experience of coaching/mentoring others
6. Has external recognition and is influential in the market
7. Displays an understanding of confidentiality issues and the use of discretion
