This exciting opportunity offers a stable 40-hour workweek, Monday to Friday. Embrace the variety with weekly alternating early and late shifts: Earlies from 07:00 to 15:30 and lates from 10:30 to 19:00.
What you’ll do:
1. Undertake technical responsibilities such as operation, maintenance, fault finding, and repair across various building services, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
2. Communicate politely and courteously with colleagues, clients, and representatives, keeping service delivery managers informed about engineering and building issues.
3. Ensure that planned preventative maintenance and associated work is implemented efficiently to specified requirements and provide assistance with improving these requirements on a continuous basis.
4. Undertake training as required enabling them to perform their duties competently and to keep up-to-date with new developments and technology.
5. Work to deadlines to ensure plant downtime is kept to a minimum and key performance indicators (KPI’s) are achieved.
6. Interpret technical schematics and drawings and utilise this information to perform planned preventative maintenance, rectification of faults and installation of new equipment.

What you bring:
Essential:
1. Qualification in or Knowledge of Mechanical & Plumbing Building Services.
2. Time served Engineer with at least 5 years relevant post experience in a similar environment.
3. Ability to Multi-task across mechanical, electrical and building disciplines at a basic level.
4. Good organisational skills with the ability to organise others.
5. The ability to listen to others understand and interpret their views.
6. Analyse and provide technical advice and solutions.
7. Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non–technical staff.
8. Prioritising own workload and working under own initiative with minimal supervision.
9. Experience of working within a Building Maintenance Organisation.
