SQL Data Migrations Consultant Full-Time | Based in Leeds, UK (Hybrid 2x a week onsite) £60,000 - £65,000 We are seeking a SQL Data Migrations Developer to join a dynamic team working on a large-scale project to migrate data from multiple legacy systems into a single global Azure SaaS solution. This role offers the chance to work on high-impact projects within a collaborative environment, driving innovation and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop efficient, high-volume data migration solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements. Perform QA testing before User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Produce metrics to support customer acceptance and migration process management. Track, analyse, and resolve issues identified during UAT. Plan and execute production migration cutovers, including work outside standard hours as required. What Makes You a Great Fit Proven experience in technical delivery on large-scale projects. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices. Experience in insolvency or financial services is an asset but not essential. Skills and Experience Required At least 5 years of experience in SQL development, including ETL data migrations. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Azure SQL environments. Advanced proficiency in T-SQL, MS SQL Server, ETL processes, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Excel and potentially Microsoft Fabric. Experience with Azure DevOps, GIT, Jira, Confluence, and MySQL is highly desirable. Knowledge of SSRS, Power BI, SSAS, Redgate SQL tools, and other development technologies (e.g., C#, VB .NET, PHP) is advantageous.
