Description: The Programming and Partnerships Lead will be the creative force behind developing exclusive, internal events that define the evolving identity of Old Sessions House. This role will focus on curating cutting-edge, immersive live experiences spanning art, music, and culture while driving key partnerships with innovative brands. They have a deep knowledge of up-and-coming artists, DJs, musicians, production companies, and cultural shows, utilizing their extensive network to bring forward-thinking collaborations into the House. With a focus on exclusivity, they will be responsible for programming that attracts high-profile audiences and positions Old Sessions House as a destination for cultural innovators and trendsetters. Programming and Curation Exclusive Event Development: Curate and develop a roster of exclusive, high-end events that enhance the prestige and allure of Old Sessions House, ensuring these experiences are aligned with the venue’s identity and resonate with its audience. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to craft immersive, memorable experiences that engage and captivate the target audience. Publicise the programming events to an external audience, developing a new revenue stream Drive ‘Live’ and ‘Play’ Identity: Spearhead the development of Old Sessions House’s evolving identity through live entertainment and cultural programming, positioning the venue as a premier hub for arts, culture, and entertainment. Innovate within the programming space by blending traditional art forms with contemporary culture, ensuring all offerings remain forward-thinking and trendsetting. Partnership Development and Management: Curate Forward-Thinking Brand Partnerships: Build and maintain partnerships with forward-thinking brands that align with Old Sessions House’s identity and values. Develop collaborations that enhance the venue’s reputation for exclusivity and cultural relevance. Drive partnership strategies that attract cutting-edge sponsors, corporate partners, and creative collaborators to support and elevate the programming. Work with brands to create bespoke events and activations that resonate with both the House’s audience and the brand’s vision. Engage in strategic outreach to new partners and brands that can add value to the House’s programming and cultural ecosystem. Collaboration and Internal Leadership: Team Collaboration and Event Execution: Partner closely with the events, operations, and overall house team to ensure the seamless execution of all events and partnerships, from concept to delivery. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to manage event logistics, budgets, timelines, and marketing initiatives that drive attendance and enhance brand visibility. Internal and External Communication: Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to ensure that all events and partnerships are promoted effectively and align with the venue’s overall brand message and tone. Provide regular updates and reports on the performance of programming, partnerships, and ticket sales to senior management. Innovation and Strategic Vision: Stay Ahead of Trends: Stay informed of the latest trends in the cultural, entertainment, and events industries within London, ensuring that Old Sessions House stays at the forefront of the scene with innovative, future-facing programming. Constantly explore new ideas and collaborations that can shape the future of live events and entertainment at the venue. Long-Term Strategy: Contribute to the long-term strategic vision for Old Sessions House, ensuring that programming, partnerships, and brand development align with the venue’s mission and growth goals. Develop strategic plans to grow the House’s identity as a destination for exclusive cultural and social experiences. Education, Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Arts Management, Marketing, Cultural Studies, or a related field. Master’s degree or equivalent experience in cultural programming is a plus. Experience in event programming, partnerships management, or cultural curation, preferably within exclusive venues or high-profile spaces with previous managerial experience desirable. Expertise in creating exclusive bespoke experiences that appeal to high-value audiences. Leadership and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple high-stakes projects and ensure seamless delivery. Creative vision with the ability to translate ideas into compelling, audience-driven events. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Passion for arts, music, and exclusive cultural programming. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to accommodate the event and programming schedule.
