The division employs over 9,000 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products which are then marketed to UK consumers via major retailers. ABOUT THE ROLE: As Engineering Planner you’ll be creating and maintaining overall departmental schedules, assigning and priortising workloads, and working closely with Engineering and Operations colleagues to coordinate overhauls and essential maintenance. Day to day you can expect the role to involve: · Generate weekly planned work using CMMS · Prioritise open work orders · Manage non-stock parts orders · Liaise with production staff to develop a maintenance plan that fits with sites production plan · Develop Job in box packages for all planned work · Incorporate planned, reactive, and proactive work into maintenance plan · Produce Plan’s and communicate clearly to engineering teams to allow completion · Lead engineering planning meetings · Work closely with site Continuous Improvement and project teams · Knowledge share/training for engineers and operators · Allocate work across shifts to optimise planning efficiency · Be accountable and drive planning KPI’s · Act as Subject matter expert with regards to site CMMS (Shire/Pirana) ABOUT YOU: If you’re fanatical about food, thrive under pressure and have the can-do spirit that’s created our success.
