Technical Skills Coach & Trainer - Engineering
Windsor Forest College Group is looking for a Technical Skills Coach – Engineeringto join the Slough & Langley College team on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage a caseload of apprentices in the Engineering Levels 3-6 Apprenticeship Programmes.
2. Conduct visits and formative assessments in the workplace or remotely to support students’ progress.
3. Provide teaching, coaching, mentoring, and assessment to apprentices.
4. Teach the theory elements of the standard in a classroom environment.
5. Provide ongoing support to apprentices and their employers, including regular communication about the standards.
Qualifications:
1. Level 4 or higher Teaching Qualification, or willingness to work towards it.
2. Appropriate Engineering HNC/HND/Degree and/or vocational qualification or equivalent; IEng registration is ideal.
3. A1 Assessors Award is advantageous; if not held, willingness to work towards it in the first year of employment is required.
