Vacancy – Sales Manager
We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our client on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the sales team, to plan, manage and deliver the company’s sales and marketing strategy and day-to-day sales activities in the UK. You will maintain and develop sales with National customer accounts, work alongside the International Sales Manager, and to implement business development activities with prospective accounts, in accordance with the company’s business plans.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
• To drive company sales strategy and activities through B2B and B2C sales channels, providing excellent customer service to contribute to the achievement of the company’s business plans for sales growth and profitability.
• Lead the Sales team to ensure the overall aim of sales growth can be achieved.
• Implementation of conventional and digital marketing activities to contribute towards the achievement of the company’s business plans for sales growth and profitability, in both B2B and B2C channels
• Work with the Marketing team to develop and own successful marketing campaigns from ideation to execution, to drive sales and profitability
• Support the Account Managers, and sales/admin support to achieve their KPI targets for sales and account growth
• Delivering company pricing and devising strategies for long-term, profitable trading.
• Providing outstanding customer service to all customers
• Preparation of sales data, management reports, compiling budgets and raising forecasts.
• Proactively presenting new products to customers and prospective customers, including new ideas and better ways to display
• Supporting the sales team with their own allocated accounts, as detailed in the sales plan.
• To actively seek new prospective customers and trading sectors
• To be member of the Leadership Team, contributing to delivering of the business and department’s projects, goals and aims.
• On a continuing personal development level (CPD), to seek to improve all aspects of the sales processes – customer focus, customer care, effectiveness of the key account management process, effectiveness of the sales management process, effectiveness of managing introducing of New Products to customers.
