An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Respiratory Team based at Salford Royal Hospital.
Working in a multi-disciplinary team, your work will help support the management of both inpatient and outpatient care.

Main duties of the job
* To use specialist knowledge of the patient pathway to proactively influence the tracking records using high levels of communication to expedite appointments/procedures as necessary and to resolve issues which could lead to target failures.
* To persistently track, update and upload all the data referring to the MDT referrals and update the electronic Tracking Records, Specialist or local MDT Teams and local Services team accordingly.
* Provide full assistance to the clinical team in the co-ordination of the Multi-Disciplinary Team Meetings and representing the MDT Teams to disseminate the information regarding the patient pathway.
* Communicate effectively with all service teams, Senior Clinicians and other Trust Senior Managers. Provide support to the MDT meetings, including recording actions and outcomes and national data collection, and other data collection identified by the MDT.
* Provide cross cover support to other MDTs for annual leave, sickness and other business needs as identified by the management team.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Very good standard of education to at least a grade C GCSE
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience
* AMSPAR
Knowledge
* Experience of working in a very busy office/role
* Working knowledge of trusts current information technology packages.
* Knowledge of national waiting times/performance targets.
Skills
* IT literate with developed skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Good organization skills and time management skills including the ability to use own initiative
