833GRE Temporary Works Coordinator Hinkley Point C, Somerset Permanent, Full-time, Site-based £100,000 Annual Salary including Car/Travel/Accommodation allowance Job Title: Temporary Works Coordinator Description & Background: A critical role within the Hinkley Point C project, the UK's first new build nuclear power station in a generation. This position is essential to supporting the UK NetZero targets. The Temporary Works Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of temporary works in accordance with BS 5975: 2019, demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork. Responsibilities: Overall responsibility and key contact for all temporary works issues on the project including temporary works teams, temporary and permanent works designers, other members of the project team. Ensure that a design brief is prepared properly and issued to the temporary works designer. Participate in weekly/pre-start look ahead meetings to identify and resolve temporary works Shall ensure that a "zero harm" approach is taken in relation to all his acts and omissions in relation to the services and the project. Acknowledges that due to the nature of the project, nuclear safety and security are of paramount importance. Housekeeping of the work areas; collection, segregation and disposal of wastes as required; removal of unused materials and clear the work floors to eliminate/reduce slipping or tripping risks in your work area.
