As a Managing Director based in Burton-Upon-Trent, you’ll be responsible for:
1. Leading Neville Lumb, a specialist business within the Wolseley Group, with an annual turnover of £50m and a team of approximately 80 colleagues based across two sites.
2. Playing a pivotal role in steering Neville Lumb to become the UK's market leader in the supply of commercial washrooms and bathrooms.
3. Developing and executing ambitious growth strategies to enhance sales, profit, and market share.
4. Taking full ownership of the business's profit and loss performance, ensuring financial robustness and business success.
5. Driving improvements in customer service, cash flow, product range, margin mix, stock levels, and proposition development.
6. Strengthening Neville Lumb's overall competitive positioning in the market.
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
1. Proven success as a Managing Director or senior leader with P&L responsibility in the Plumbing and Heating industry.
2. Ability to develop and implement effective strategies in a commercial setting, with a strong focus on profitable growth in a premium business.
3. Exceptional people management skills, with a track record of inspiring and developing high-performing cross-functional teams and fostering a customer-centric culture.
4. Able to remove obstacles, overcome resistance, and negotiate effectively to achieve profitable outcomes.
