What you can add: RGN/Dip. HE, NVQ III in Operating Department Practice/C&G 752 or Dip. HE Operating Department Practice. BSc (Hons) Operating Department Practice. Current registration of professional body. To be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team To participate in the assessment of patient care needs implementing and maintaining agreed standards of care. Following Codes of Professional Practice provide high quality care to patients undergoing treatment within the Peri-Operative Environment. The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above. What you'll need: Experience: Have a minimum of 6 months experience in an operating theatre environment. Registered with NMC Knowledge: Understands levels of responsibility/accountability Evidence of Continued Professional Development Good understanding of competency based learning Able to produce evidence of clinical ability Understands the importance of training and change in relation to patient care Basic IT Skills. Skills: Good communication skills *Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
