Job Title: Site Engineering Manager
Location: Wrexham (LL13 9UG)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 17:00 (Flexibility required)

About the Role
As a Site Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence within our production facilities. Working with leading retailers and maintaining our reputation for quality, your responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring a safe and compliant working environment for all employees and visitors.
* Leading and developing a team of shift engineers through mentorship, appraisals, and performance management.
* Managing planned preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
* Overseeing reactive maintenance to minimise downtime and maintain production output.
* Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives for plant efficiency and energy optimisation.
* Managing contractors on-site to ensure effective and efficient operations.
* Supporting the integration of new equipment and innovations in production facilities.
* Managing team workloads and ensuring adequate resource allocation.
* Building strong relationships with stakeholders and effectively communicating expectations.
* Ensuring the site remains audit-ready in collaboration with the technical team.
* Working alongside the projects engineering team to support business growth.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* Proven experience in a similar leadership role within engineering.
* Time-served multi-skilled engineer with hands-on capabilities.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
* Experience in food manufacturing environments.
