Job summary
Reporting to the Endoscopy Education Lead, you will identify training needs and plan, implement, and evaluate educational activities for new starters and existing members of staff across the company. You will be a critical player in assuring quality educational experiences, preparing the clinical workforce for the diverse, ever-changing health care environment. You will be accountable for offering clinical support in Endoscopy via robust training packages, giving support to existing and new colleagues.
Main duties of the job
1. Contribute to the planning and organisation of the continuous professional development of colleagues as educators.
2. Act as a mentor to new and existing members of the clinical team overseeing induction and training programmes.
3. Support the implementation and review of multidisciplinary education initiatives.
4. Support and facilitate the development of clinical practice mentors.
5. Design and support the delivery of clinical staff training programmes.
6. Maintain training records and update training matrices.
7. Collaborate with Regional Operational Managers and Hospital Managers on the clinical education needs of their respective teams.
8. Support new site openings of new hospitals for all clinical staff.

2. Previous Educator or Lead experience.
3. Experience with JAG accreditation.
4. Experience working in the NHS or in the private sector.
5. Passion for high quality patient safety and care.
6. Educated to degree level or equivalent level of experience.
7. Excellent clinical knowledge and skills.
